TY - JOUR AU - Musyaropah, Ai Rahmah PY - 2019/02/27 TI - METODE TASAWUF SUHRAWARDI DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM JF - Online Thesis; Vol 13 No 2 (2018): Online Thesis Tahun 2018 KW - N2 - Education and Sufism have the same goal, namely the realization of a perfect human being (  Insan Kamil  ). The manifestation of  Insan Kamil  is a civilized human being.   If someone's bad character comes from his heart. if his heart is good, then his character will be good. If his heart is bad, then his character will be bad. To reach perfect humans as a manifestation of the purpose of education a method is needed. The proper method to answer the moral decadence that is increasingly acute is a way back to God through the methods of Sufism. The purpose of this study, first, to know the social background of Sheikh Suhrawardi Sufi thought. Second, to know the method of Sufism of Sheikh Suhrawardi . And third, to find out the relevance of Sheikh Suhrawardi's method of Sufism with Islamic Religious Education . This type of research is qualitative non-interactive which is also called analytical research. Namely research analysis of the document in which researchers not be  direct interaction with human data sources. Instead it collects, analyzes, and hold the next data synthesis provide an interpretation of theories or concepts, policies and events that can be observed. The document that is the source of the data here is the concept and historically collected by literature review and documentation methods. The analysis process uses a content  analysis  which is interpreted using the interpretative text method. This study concludes three conclusions, namely: (1) the social background of Sheikh Suhrawardi's thinking is influenced by al-Hallaj's sufism , Abu Yazid al-Busthami, Dzu an-Nun al-Mishri, Sahlan ibn Abdullah at-Tustari and al-Ghazali ; Ibn Sina Muslim paripatetic philosophy ; pre-Islamic philosophical thinking namely Pythagorianism, Platonism and Hermeticism; and the influence of ancient Persian teachings that stemmed from Zoroastrianism (2) the method of Sufism Suhrawardi is a method of heart education, because every method of the method always emphasizes mental aspects, such asphasing in learning, hiwar methods or dialogues, habituation methods, imagery methods or parables, story methods, methods of mau'idzoh or advice, the method of moral education, the riyadloh method, and the intuition method. (3) The method of Sufism Suhrawardi has relevance to the method of Islamic religious education which have beenshown in the al-Qur`an and Sunnah and has been widely discussed by scholars of Islamic religious education before and after the period of Sheikh Suhrawardi. Of the several methods found, the riyad method is a characteristic of Sheikh Suhrawardi which has not been discussed in the world of contemporary education.
