As an effort from one of the education providers there is a program to strengthen Islamic religious education and the character of the Indonesian nation that can be obtained by students in schools and in the family environment. Character education has a goal to improve the implementation and results of education in schools that lead to the formation of a whole, integrated character in accordance with graduate competency standards. Through character education it is expected that students in schools are able to independently improve and use their knowledge, internalize and personalize character value, so that it manifests in daily behavior. The purpose of this study is to describe the following: (1) Islamic and national character education planning at SMK Taruna Bangsa Ciamis, (2) implementation of Islamic character and nationality education at SMK Taruna Bangsa Ciamis, (3) Islamic and national character education results at SMK Taruna Bangsa Ciamis. The research method used is descriptive method that is a method that attempts to describe something systematically, factually and accurately about various factors and the relationship between the phenomena investigated. The data analysis technique uses the following stages: (1) data selection, (2) classification of data, (3) interpretation of data, and (4) drawing conclusions. The research conclusions are: (1) Islamic character education and nationality planning at SMK Taruna Bangsa Ciamis are discussed and determined at the beginning of the school year meeting by the principal, the deputy head of the curriculum and all the teachers, beginning with preparation and discussion and evaluation of implementation learning in the previous school year, referring to the KTSP and K-13 curriculum that has been integrated character values, then carried out through two processes namely. (a) through learning activities in the classroom with syllabus and plan for implementing learning (RPP) with character. (b) through outside learning activities in the activities of planting character values, self-development, school culture and extracurricular activities; (2) the implementation of Islamic character education and nationality at SMK Taruna Bangsa Ciamis is carried out in integrated learning activities in each subject, namely through the planting of character values ​​in learning activities, such as: (a) honest (b) tolerance, (c) discipline, (d) hard work, (e) independent, (f) curiosity, and (g) responsibility. (h) religious, (i) discipline, (g) love for the country, and (k) care for the environment; (3) The results of Islamic character education and nationality at SMK Taruna Bangsa Ciamis meet the standards of noble character assessment indicators in accordance with the vision and mission achieved. Students in following intracurricular and extracurricular activities are able to reflect religious attitudes, be willing to sacrifice, unity and unity, price respect, cooperation and are proud to be a nation of Indonesia.
