IMPLEMENTASI NILAI-NILAI MODERASI BERAGAMA DI SEKOLAH (PENELITIAN DI SMAN 1 BANDUNG)
Abstract
Indonesia is a country with a diverse population in terms of ethnicity, customs, culture and religion. Religious pluralism emerged from the entry of major religions into Indonesia. Of course, maintaining diversity and pluralism is not as easy as seeking help. Conflicts often arise between internal people and people of different religions. In fact, religious etiquette, or Wasatiya Islam, is the key to creating tolerance and harmony locally, nationally, and globally. The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of moderation and strategies for introducing religious moderation into education, and to analyze the impact of religious moderation in Islamic religious education. This research takes a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. Data collection is observed and documented. Primary and secondary data sources. Descriptive data analysis includes content analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that religious moderation leads to the realization of tolerance and justice between religious communities, as well as self-justification and mutual respect both at school and in the community. Religious manners are actually a beacon that illuminates their servants to follow and be tolerant of following the teachings of Islam. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers by conducting observations, interviews, regarding the results of the Implementation of Religious Moderation Values in Schools it will be faster if applied in all areas of school community life, such as through activities in the curriculum, intracurricular, co-curricular, extracurricular activities.
