HUBUNGAN EKSTRAKURIKULER ROHIS TERHADAP KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK DAN HASIL BELAJAR PAI DI SMAN 1 CIKALONG

Abstract

Schools as formal educational institutions play an important role in improving the quality of education through learning to support the smooth running of development in Indonesia as a whole. Learning is the main activity of schools as a form of education service for the community. However, even so, the learning process in schools is not the only factor in the success of learning, there are many other factors that are thought to have contributed quite a bit to the success of the learning process, including extracurricular activities, especially extracurricular activities that train and shape student character. , among them are Rohis extracurricular activities. Based on that hall, the researcher is very interested in further examining the relationship between spiritual extracurricular activities, student character and learning outcomes of Islamic Education.


The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Rohis extracurricular activities and the learning outcomes of Islamic education, the relationship between student characters and learning outcomes of Islamic education and the relationship between extracurricular Rohis and student characters with learning outcomes of Islamic education at SMAN 1 Cikalong.


The method in this study is a survey research method with correlational techniques (connectedness). Researchers do not treat respondents, but only measure the variables studied.


The results of the simple correlation analysis showed that there was a positive relationship between the Rohis extracurricular variable and the PAI learning outcome variable. The correlation value between the activeness variable in spiritual extracurricular activities with the PAI learning outcomes is 0.911 and a significance value of 0.00. A significance value of less than 0.00 indicates a positive relationship between these two variables. That is, the higher the activity of students in spiritual extracurricular activities, the higher the PAI learning outcomes. Likewise with the relationship between the student character variables and the PAI learning outcome variables. The correlation value between student character variables and PAI learning outcomes is 0.812 and a significance value of 0.00. A significance value of less than 0.00 indicates a positive relationship between these two variables. That is, the higher the character of the students, the higher the PAI learning outcomes. The results of the multiple correlation analysis show that there is a positive relationship between extracurricular spiritual variables and student character variables together with the PAI learning outcome variable. The significance value is 0.00, this value is less than 0.05 which indicates a positive relationship between these three variables.
