PENANAMAN NILAI RESOLUSI JIHAD OLEH KIAI KEPADA SANTRI DI NAHDLATUL ULAMA (NU)
Abstract
The inculcation of the values of the Jihad Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Resolution by the kiai to the santri in maintaining and reclaiming Indonesian independence had a very large influence and impact, this was reflected in the resistance and heroic actions taken by the kiai and santri in facing the war against the Allied troops and NICA, and the emergence of the Jihad Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Resolution on the initiative of the kiai, even though at that time the Indonesian state government had already been formed. As a result, the Indonesian government made the moment of the October 22nd Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Jihad Resolution event designated as Santri Day based on Presidential Decree number 22 of 2015. This study was carried out to understand the purpose of instilling the value of the NU Jihad Resolution by kiai into santri as well as the reasons for the emergence of the NU Jihad Resolution as well as reasons for the government to issue a Santri Day Presidential Decree.
The purpose of this study is to analyze how the kiai instill the values of the NU Jihad Resolution to their students, to analyze the basic reasons why NU kiai issue Jihad Resolutions, and to analyze what factors the government considers in accommodating the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Jihad Resolution as a necessary reason. there is a Santri Day.
Qualitative methods used in research aim to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects, for example perceptions, motivations, behaviors and actions and are described in natural language and words using historical-inductive approaches and interview techniques in collecting data. analyzed and abstracted. Then the problems studied are described descriptively so that theories emerge as qualitative research findings.
Kiai educate and transfer knowledge to students in instilling divine, spiritual and moral (moral) values as well as emotional guidance in the field, so that they can influence values, patterns of behavior, attitudes, skills and appreciation of students and make the personality and character of students who have religious values and the value of strong faith, great good deeds, responsive to all situations, responsive in carrying out Divine demands and the demands of the times, instilling awareness of the state, nation and homeland, the religion of Islam in defending Indonesia's independence. The fundamental reason for the Nahdlatul Ulama scholars to issue a Jihad Resolution was because the government at that time was passive and did not take any real action against the landing of Allied troops and NICA on the motherland. The government's consideration is to issue Presidential Decree No. 22/2015 concerning Santri Day which refers to the Jihad Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Resolution of October 22, because kiai and students in Islamic boarding schools have a very large role in efforts to seize and maintain independence; as well as to remember, emulate and continue the role of kiai and santri in defending, defending and safeguarding the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
